The ASHI® certified inspector
-
Evaluates the condition of the house's major systems and structural integrity, and how those systems work together.
-
Identifies items with adverse conditions to be repaired, replaced, or investigated further.
-
Reports on items that are near the end of their service life. Our inspections include carbon monoxide testing.
-
If we identify a need for correction or further investigation of the houses' systems or structures, we will report the nature of the correction needed or the type of investigation needed, but we do not specify a particular type of repair or design the remedy.
Inspections are NOT a commodity. There are significant differences from one inspector to the next. Hiring an inspector with decades of experience, a passion for excellence, and one who respects your concerns is key to a successful inspection experience. A low fee inspection could be an expensive gamble.
Our fees reflect our experience, professional service, and our committment to excellence. We take time to look at the house thoroughly and listen to your concerns and questions. We document our findings carefully so the report is complete and easily understood.
Please join the inspector at the later portion of the inspection to ask questions and better understand the systems in the home. We will show you our concerns, give you the inspection report, review the report with you, and respond to your questions.
If you have any questions, or are interested in any other services, please contact us using the form below. Fees payable at or before time of inspection. An inspection report will not be issued until payment is received. You will be invoiced by email before the inspection and may pay by credit card through PayPal. (If using PayPal, please arrange for us to do the PayPal transaction the day BEFORE the inspection.) Otherwise please bring check, cash or money order to the inspection. Reports are issued via transfer to your USB flash drive, or sent via email.
