Eco driving is often as simple as looking ahead one or two cars to check for slow downs, avoiding rapid starts or excessive braking, coasting to red lights, etc.  This simple actions can improve your fuel economy by 1 or 2 miles per gallon.  If you currently get 20 miles per gallon, this is a 5 to 10 percent improvement. 

A two mile per gallon improvement from 20 mpg, assuming $2.50 per gallon of fuel and 10,000 miles per year driven, saves over $113 per year.
